Man arrested after £2,000 quad bike stolen

Officers investigating the theft of a £2,000 quad bike from South Lakeland have arrested a man from County Durham.

The 18-year-old man, of Darlington, was arrested earlier yesterday in County Durham on suspicion of theft after a quad bike worth over £2,000 was stolen overnight on September 17 from Crook, near Kendal.

The man is in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.
